Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RollCall ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

RollCall is a board game event organizer application that allows users to create groups, organize game night events, track game statistics, communicate with group members, and manage related activities. The Service is provided on both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users. Post content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Impersonate another person or entity. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or to the Service's systems. Use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted. Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content. Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create within the Service, including messages, game results, announcements, and profile information. By posting content, you grant RollCall a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post. We do not endorse or verify user-generated content.

6. Groups and Administration

Group administrators are responsible for managing their groups, including member conduct and content within their group. RollCall is not responsible for decisions made by group administrators, including member removal or content moderation within groups. Group administrators must comply with these Terms and ensure their group activities do not violate any applicable laws.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

RollCall offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions ("Pro") are billed on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Prices are listed on the upgrade page and may change with notice. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing management portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us through the Support page for refund requests.

8. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for the Pro subscription. During the trial, you will have access to all Pro features. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per group.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by RollCall and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without express written permission.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at rollcall privacy policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RollCall and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after account termination in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the State of Utah. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
